The TDA Group, a full-service marketing firm serving the high-technology community, today announced that it has won a second industry award for the production of TotalStorage Solutions (TSS), an IBM newsletter. The Northern California Business Marketing Association (Norcal BMA) has awarded TSS a 2002 Bronze Beacon Award in the newsletter category. This accolade marks the second such award for The TDA Group and TSS; in April, the two received a 2002 Maggie Award from the Western Publications Association (WPA) in the newsletter category.
TSS is a custom publication designed for customers of the IBM Storage Systems Group and its products. The Beacon Awards, held for the first time in June and judged by Bay Area marketing professionals, will be awarded annually by Norcal BMA to members and non-members, clients, agencies and suppliers who have produced marketing communications that demonstrate exceptional strategy and execution.
“The Beacon Awards recognize smart marketing,” notes Beacon Awards director Adrienne Parker. “And with 200 entrants in 33 categories, competition was stiff. The Norcal BMA is pleased to recognize TotalStorage Solutions for excellence.”
The IBM TSS newsletter provides IT professionals with current information about IBM data storage products and their business applications. Storage technology, which enables users to access information at any time from any location, has emerged as a critical element of corporate data centers.

The TDA Group received its first award for TSS in April 2002, when the Western Publishers Association honored the publication and agency with a Maggie Award.
